The L-Series is the first LED fixture to truly incorporate the Fresnel characteristics of continuous focusability from spot to flood and a smooth, homogenous light field.

The L-Series takes full advantage of LED technology and allows for complete control over the color and intensity of light. Light emitted from the L-Series is specifically calibrated for optimal reproduction on broadcast and digital cinema cameras, ensuring pleasing skin tones and vividly rendered colors. Constructed to be robust and ergonomic, the L-Series meets the quality and design standard for which ARRI is known.

At the heart of the L-Series are a few core concepts: tuneability, color fidelity, high build quality and ease of use. Three simple knobs permit the brightness, color temperature and green/magenta point to be fine-tuned, while a focus knob on the side of each fixture allows for smooth adjustment of the beam spread, just like conventional sources.

Changeable Optics

Changeable optics is the core innovation in Orbiter. With a wide variety of optics to choose from, Orbiter transforms into the perfect light for your application without sacrificing beam, output, or color quality. The Quick Lighting Mount (QLM) in Orbiter allows for optics with vastly different properties to be connected to the fixture.

Orbiter Fresnel Lens

The Fresnel Lens creates a precise light spot with a soft single shadow. It delivers true Fresnel output with a real Gaussian field of light. The large zoom range of 15 to 65° is fully motorized and allows control locally or remotely. A status LED display shows the current zoom angle.

For third-party optics: Orbiter Docking Ring

SkyPanel is a compact, ultra-bright and high-quality LED soft light that sets a new standard for the industry. With a design focused on form, color, beam field and output, SkyPanel represents the culmination of more than a decade of research and development of LED technology at ARRI.

Incorporating features of ARRI’s successful L-Series LED Fresnels, SkyPanel is one of the most versatile soft lights on the market, as well as one of the brightest. The SkyPanel ‘C’ (Color) versions are fully tuneable; correlated color temperature is adjustable between 2,800 K and 10,000 K, with excellent color rendition over the entire range. Full plus and minus green correction can be achieved with the simple turn of a knob. In addition to CCT adjustments, other control options are available such as: hue and saturation, gel selection, RGBW, source matching, x,y coordinates, and 16 professional lighting effects programmed into every fixture.

The remote phosphor versions of SkyPanel are also available and have a lower price point. Different color temperature panels are available, including 2,700 K; 3,200 K; 4,300 K; 5,600 K; 6,500 K and 10,000 K. A chroma green phosphor panel is available for green screen lighting

The SkyPanel features Art-Net, sACN, DMX, and RDM implementations for a wide range of control options. Combined with SkyLink, a large rig of SkyPanels can be controlled wirelessly with little effort. Stellar brings all these pieces together with intuitive controls that work seamlessly with the SkyLink, SkyPanel, and L-Series hardware. Creating a complex lighting network has never been simpler or easier to manage.
Color Mode Switching

There are seven amazing ways to select color and lighting effects with the SkyPanel. With Stellar, it is possible to instantly switch between control modes so that a color can be chosen with an interface best suited for that mode. There is no need to worry about DMX footprints or addresses as Stellar’s backend takes care of this. Simply pick the color mode desired and adjust the output accordingly. No compromises necessary with Stellar.
Auto Layout Feature

Stellar’s auto layout feature makes DMX patching a thing of the past. The app will automatically set the DMX start addresses for all fixtures and continue to manage the network in order to avoid any overlapping devices. Without the need to worry about DMX settings, there is more time to focus on the creative aspects of lighting.
Automatic Fixture Discovery

Today’s networks are a complicated mix of nodes, splitters, gateways, and much more. Stellar will navigate the DMX network for you. With the automatic discovery of fixtures, Stellar will search your DMX/RDM network and find every ARRI fixture connected to it. Simply assign the found devices to a project and start lighting. Whether it’s 10 fixtures,100 fixtures, or more, Stellar can handle it.
Built in RDM and DMX Technology

By incorporating DMX and RDM as standard features of the L-Series and SkyPanel, it has been possible to take control of all aspects of ARRI LED fixtures. Stellar takes full advantage of this technology but also hides the complexity in the background. Using Art-Net, Stellar is able to control color and change any setting on the fixture. It is not necessary to set a DMX address or change a DMX mode - Stellar does this automatically.
