HELIXNET

HELIXNET

HelixNet® Digital Network Partyline Intercom System
by Clear-Com
Ref # CCOHELIXNET

For full specifications of this product please visit the Clear-Com site clicking HERE

PRODUCT DETAILS

The HelixNet® Digital Network Partyline Intercom System delivers intuitive and familiar workflows of Clear-Com’s analog partyline in a networked intercom system.

Built on 50+ years of Clear-Com’s heritage and experience with the elegantly simple analog partyline systems, HelixNet is a next generation partyline intercom system for users requiring fast setups, effortless management, scalability, deployment quality and adaptability to traditional and modern cabling infrastructure without interference from channel crosstalk, noise or buzzes.

Powered by Clear-Com’s advanced I.V.Core® technology, developed to provide efficient and easy-to-use partyline mixing on Ethernet networks. Invisible to the user, I.V.Core continuously analyzes voice activity, talk and listen levels through the system routing relevant audio packages to user stations and interfaces for optimal bandwidth utilization and listening experience.

Mixing and processing power is dynamically added to the system with each user station and interface in real-time, allowing the system to expand without the need of additional cards, routing or configuration – just like analog partyline.

KEY FEATURES

Familiar Partyline Channels

Built around familiar and innovative partyline channels, where all channel users can hear all talkers, HelixNet provides an easy transition for intercom users, allowing them to focus on their primary task with minimal assistance or training. Users can select or be assigned any of the system’s 12 or 24 channels with independently mixed Program Audio without change in system configuration, wiring, crosstalk or noises. Ease of deploying channels on HelixNet allows for efficient communication.

Effortless Administration

HelixNet user stations are automatically discovered, firmware matched and added to the system without configuration. Designed for fast operation, easy of use and flexible deployment, HelixNet allows configuration locally using intuitive front panel menus on the user stations, or centrally from the system’s Core Configuration Manager (CCM), an intuitive administration interface accessible on web browsers.

Infrastructure Agnostic

Concurrently capable of supporting user station connections over traditional XLR audio cabling and Ethernet networks allows for the most suitable connectivity for the application at hand.

Robust Powerlines allow user station network and power connections from a main station using rugged diagnostics. Ethernet and fiber provide the ability to utilize structured cabling as well as standard or converged networks, automatically adaptive to a wide range of network quality. Flexible power options over Powerline, Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) and local AC or DC power. HelixNet is unique in its infrastructural flexibility.

Flexible Interfacing

A wide variety of interfaces can be modularly added to HelixNet main stations to create the most common interfacing requirements, such as 2-wire and 4-wire line level. Seamless integration with LQ Series IP interfaces further expands interfacing density and enables the ability to add Station-IC or Agent-IC Virtual Intercom Clients for Windows, MacOS, Android and iOS, VoIP SIP telephone interfacing, two-way radio interfacing, GPIO and IP connections to E-IPA and/or IPA32 card-equipped Eclipse HX matrix systems.

PRODUCT DETAILS

In high profile broadcast environments operating around the clock, communication by its very nature is critical to success. Proven reliability, capabilities and performance make the professional intercom system an absolute essential for any production.

For private one-to-one, group and conference calls, Trilogy’s Gemini matrix intercom allows productions to simply and quickly initiate, conduct and manage conversations with simple user operations and intuitive configuration controls. The system is ideal for applications requiring cost-effective, entry-level package solution that can scale into a larger communication network.

KEY FEATURES

Highly Scalable

Scale the Gemini matrix intercom system to 64 channels of Digital Signal Process (DSP)-based IP communications support, up to 12 camera channels and an enhanced front panel with alarm features. The Gemini system offers 8 to 32 local ports for panels, analog and digital audio interfaces, and telephony within a single 2RU matrix. Gemini can be expanded to 8 matrices with 256 ports via the dual redundant ring connectivity that provides program quality performance for hundreds of simultaneous conversations with near-zero latency and digital audio network (High Speed Link – HSL).

Flexible Interface Options

Select from a range of interface boards and conventional control panels over CAT5, analog 4-wire audio equipment, analog telephone lines, AES/MADI streams or IP-enabled panels. The optional IP capability allows up to 64 channels of voice to be carried over any standard IP network to other Trilogy matrices. It also carries all inter-matrix messaging and system configuration data. Gemini’s GPI capability allows external control access to an extensive array of audio routing and logic functions.

Gateway Configuration Editor

Gemini system configuration is performed using Trilogy’s Gateway software which provides unrestricted ability for users to build, modify and save multiple databases to suit any operational requirement. Users can set any system parameter to suit their needs and preferences, from changing key assignments, to audio level adjustment, or extensive re-configuration of an entire network. Gateway’s Access Management facility offers role-based administration and security, providing selective control over individual Gemini matrices or the entire communication network. And a browser-based utility gives authorized users remote access to all engineering and maintenance functions.
